A COMEDIAN WALKS INTO A FUNERAL HOME BY: DENNIS KELLY

Rating: 2 out of 5.

This book didn’t hit the mark for me. In the beginning of the book the comedian bombed in a competition. That scenario happened over and over for me while reading this book.
I didn’t enjoy the humor of the book. I am not saying the book was depressing … more … nothing clicked. I didn’t find myself laughing. I didn’t find myself feeling sad. I felt numb and just wanted the book to end.

It was a good try and I seem to be in the minority here – so don’t take my review to heart. Read the book and give it your own opinion. It’s a quick read, so that makes it an easy reason to pick it up. It’s an original idea, which I appreciate.
